Education - I graduated from Dowling College with a BBA in Accounting in 2003 but have been working in the accounting field since 2000. 

 
Experience - Of my 24 years in accounting, I have worked for various CPA firms for 15 years in public accounting attaining the position of audit manager and the remainder of my time have held both the role of Corporate Controller and VP of Finance at several private companies on Long Island managing their accounting departments and handling their financial affairs.

My Firm's History - I have been preparing returns for my own personal clients since 2008 and officially formed my business on 3/12/2014, over 10 years years ago.  My business's focus is on individual taxes and also small business formations & dissolutions, accounting, taxes and consultations. 

Credentials -  I am registered with both the State of New York and the IRS for tax preparation and am also certified by the IRS as an authorized efiling firm.  I am fully insured with both general liability and professional liability (malpractice) policies.  CGK Accounting Services is an accredited business with an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
